Who Are You?
I am a freelance graphic/web designer, programmer, photographer, and more recently, digital photo restoration expert. I offer my services to the art and business communities on an independent basis, and I would be happy to talk to you about your design or web application needs. Please browse my websites in the "Partner Sites" section.
What Is This?
Over the years I have created many websites. Some were born from the urge to share my interests with the world, and others were born from brief periods of near insanity. Finally, I came to my senses and realized that nobody can ever keep track of all of my sites, or even know that they are related in some way. The Bailiwick serves as the design hub, a starting point for discovering everything I am involved in. Use the "Partner Sites" section to proceed to my other sites.
In the "Launch Pad" section you will also find links to sites that I didn't have anything to do with (for the most part), but which have served me well for inspiration. If you operate a site that you think is inspiring, let me know, there may be space for it on the Launch Pad.
Tech Notes
This page is built dynamically by a PHP script each time you view it. The content is marked up in XHTML 1.1 and styled with CSS. This approach is part of my new interest in creating portable, accessible, and compatible websites.
I must give great thanks to CSS Zen Garden (created by Dave Shea) and all of its participants for making this site possible. Without the amazing examples found there I never would have muddled through this design. In creating this site, I used the following tools:
- Macintosh G4 Dual 1.24GHz / 2GB RAM running OS X 10.2.8
- My trusty PIII 750MHz / 256MB RAM running Debian Sid
- Adobe Photoshop 7.0
- gVIM
- Mozilla 1.3, Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1+
- My brain, which is now throbbing
